Open every day for lunch or dinner (lunch only on Sundays) as long as we have at least 6 guests booked in total - singles, couples & groups are all fine. Please call or email us and enquire. Gates open at 12.15pm for drinks prior to 1pm lunch service, and from 6.45pm for drinks prior to 7.30pm dinner service. Only one sitting for either.

Christmas Day lunch is now almost fully booked. We have one table of up to 6 left. If you're interested please contact Silke and she will send the menu for a proper feast, including fallow deer venison from Knole Park. On Christmas day the gates open at 1pm for drinks & canapés and lunch is served at 2pm.

Set 4 course menu £55 with options, up to £95 for 9 course tasting menu. Usually we limit service to 14 adult guests though through December and New Year this will be 18 adults. Children over 4 are welcome. We are open for lunch on Christmas Day (£110 pp) and for dinner on New Year's Eve (£120 pp - until 1am). Bespoke menus for full room bookings of at least 10 guests - discuss with our chef.
You have your table for 3+ hours in a single sitting so there's no hurry. Relax & enjoy atmospheric seclusion in a very stylish room set amid a spectacular Japanese garden.

Sorry, we can't allow pet dogs because of the open chef's table kitchen. Guide dogs are fine.
