We offer the full Chef's Table dining experience in our large and luxurious open plan kitchen and dining space in Rhoden Green near Paddock Wood, Kent. You can see exactly what is going on and interact with the team if you like.

Join us for intimate private dining and occasional supper clubs. We open when we accumulate at least 6 bookings from singles, couples or groups, and usually limit service to 12-14 guests, 3 nights a week plus Sunday lunches if pre-booked.

We stock a range of alcohol free wines, beers & soft drinks or please bring your own alcoholic wines or beers and we'll provide fine glassware & service for a modest corkage. We can also get events licences to serve alcohol.

Our menu changes often: seasonal samples are published here or call us. Depends what's best in our kitchen garden & market. Everything is super fresh, sourced as locally as possible and prepared here in the restaurant.

We believe in being truly hospitable: informal, unfussy, relaxed....but we take the food seriously. No one leaves hungry or unhappy!

Totally friendly to vegan, coeliac, vegetarian as well as all meat and fish.

Perfect for private parties, birthdays, discreet managerial and board dinners or lunches, and corporate events. Ideal for a small wedding celebration too. We're also happy to host gay & LGBTQ+ friendly dinners.

How it works

This is our new restaurant, set next to our home & with professional cooking, where you can socialise or enjoy a private meal. Three tables seat 12 - 14 guests. Proud to have a 5 star Food Standards Agency rating.

Booking is essential. Arrival by arrangement or at circa 7pm please for dinner to be served at 7.30pm or a bit before. Please notify us of any allergies well n advance as we can't change the menu after you've arrived!

Usually we serve a multi course set dinner menu for circa £50-£60 per head depending on menu (plus drinks and service). Home made bread included. No room booking fee and no VAT, so saves 20%. Please see booking & terms section. We can serve a range of alcohol free or low alcohol wines and beers that have had good independent reviews and we sell at sensible prices, plus great soft drinks. Also welcome to bring your own wine: corkage £10 per bottle.

All major credit cards are accepted, as is ApplePay, cash, & BACS.

We welcome and encourage feedback as we want to improve all the time and make our guests happy.

We welcome disabled guests but we can't easily handle wheelchairs as there are unavoidably steps and narrow doorways in the route to the lavatory at this old tithe barn house.

Children are welcome too, but we don't have high chairs or baby change facilities so children must be 4 or over. Hygiene laws prevent us having pets here as it is an open kitchen where you get to see everything going on, but guide dogs are fine of course.
